Is it even a hot take that I feel better about that than just forcing the AI or whatever to just make a decision and run with it? I feel that just about any human, whether they know US traffic laws or not, will do a better job in edge cases than AI.

But I don’t like that they’re allowed on the road at all. But unfortunately in americaland if the company has deep enough pockets there are no rules.
