had a cat that did this repeatedly to small wires. luckily for him the highest voltage was 12v DC

Time to spray all your accessible wires with bitter apple or other repellent. Cute or not, that kitten is going to ruin wiring and maybe even electrocute itself one day if you don't put a stop to this quick.
