who is Michael Link? epst3in files Q

trying to put a face to the name. guessing he is around 28 now given the time frame of emails sent.

at first thought he was a victim, turns out was under mentorship from 3pstein? SMU ties as well. same time frame as posted in emails. documentation between both about possible BA or pHD, talk of the island & of z0rro ranch in ABQ. reocurring theme of cybersecurity and tech (and space X).

on the linked in, there are endorsements from david starr (related to ken starr, former baylor president??) as well as Chris Link (related to michael link??) and Michael Haire. I can not find mentions of Michael Link anywhere else. also js wondering who is r3dcted here.

sorry if hard to read. Was wondering if I could get some help with connecting the dots/ more input? thank you

Some stuff to inch closer that you might already know. I don't have Linkedin access at the moment, so this is mainly from info of your screenshot.

  • says he's in Florida, and tech stuff.
  • says he's taught some remote stuff.
  • reposts infosec stuff from a senior lecturer at Florida University
  • there's a professor by the same name on ratemyprofessor since before any Epstein files were released.
  • one rating says:

He's legitimately the worst professor I've ever had. He's also on the list and had been to the island.

Now, Michael Link is neither in the staff, nor faculty list of people on the department of CS homepage.

So, why is there a ratemyprofessor page active since before the Epstein files release, but there is no Michael Link on their website?

I think one could write the University and ask them directly. This could however put you into serious danger, and I'm pretty sure there are safer ways to learn more, that don't make as many waves.

This guy is my professor for the computer science class I took last semester, and the penetration test class I'm taking this semester.

He's a grad student, not faculty, but he does teach. That's probs why he doesn't appear much on the UF website. I'd say the 28 age figure is correct.

I read through the files and I couldn't see anything beyond educational and medical discussion (Michael Link suffers from blindness, and apparently Epstein had connections to a Stanford doctor that diagnosed it). Also, he tried to get some pull from Epstein to get into the MIT grad program (unsuccessful because he's at UF)

That said, I don't believe he was affiliated with Epstein beyond ordinary professional aspects. I've spoken to him (I say "I've" as in some of his students), and he's been very transparent about it. His dad was a civil lawyer who worked with Epstein (civil lawyer, not criminal).

Apparently, he also spoke about this last semester with a few students, which I think was before these files mentioning him released.

I don't believe he is a pedophile. He never struck me as one (what do pedophiles even look like?). But yeah, he never gave me the creeps. He's actually a great professor if you look at his past ratemyprof scores.

Thank you so much for this input! I just am worried because he did have an email where he claimed he was at Epstein's Island, but it could have been for other reasons?? this is amazing though. it's just hard because the worst pedophiles are the hardest to pick out. thank you again!

Just please be mindful of your safety and not to harass somebody potentially more or less innocent.

This is a bad redaction. You can highlight it and copy paste it elsewhere. It says "IN a".
