Searchers find wreck of luxury steamer lost in Lake Michigan more than 150 years ago

If they found it 150 years ago, then why is this in news.

The Great Lakes are home to anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 shipwrecks, most of which remain undiscovered, according to the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Wisconsin Water Library.

It's like the searchers aren't even trying, sunken ships are like the main feature of the bottom at this point.
(For real tho - the corporate greed on not just building better ships to handle the bad weather that happens a few times per season, or even just directly to handle harsh winter weather, was real. They were losing a few ships evey storm.)
