Both the Kingsbury and Luffy probably holding up a fist than going full on salute(with Kingsbury holding a ski stick). Not all straight hand with that angle are nazi salute, i'm only jokingly talking about the funny coincidence being darker if Hitler is there.
We now it's not a Nazi salute, but by cropping the image it does help to normalize that particular motion. I could take a cropped image of Elon and you wouldn't even know. It would make it look "acceptable"
It's a photo of their TV screen, phone cameras like to denoise images and sharpen edges and a picture of a noisy TV screen is the perfect candidate for smearing the shit out of an image.
Plus, most TVs now by default enable horrific postprocessing like sharpening and motion interpolation, which makes everything look like total shit even in still frames.

This feels like Netflix trying to normalize the nazi salute and give and excuse for Elon's "My heart goes out to you" salute.
