The Martian was fantastic. Artemis was a huge disappointment and I haven't returned to his writing since. What is your opinion of what has come after Artemis?

Artemis was a disappointment, so I agree with you there. But he redeemed himself with Project Hail Mary and you must read that novel. And highly recommend the audiobook as well.

I didn't exactly hate Artemis. It had some really great concepts of technology like the recirculating gray water shower. It's genius for places that have to conserve every drop. It definitely had a weak story but it's not terrible yet it's not something I'll read again anytime soon.
