The United States has long been a nation caught between two extremes: not wanting to be monitored 24/7 and totally fine with near-constant surveillance.
One of these is not an extreme and it's weird to see it framed as such
I recall reading in a similar post about certain handheld lasers that weren't too expensive that are capable of destroying these cameras almost instantly. Does anyone know what those are, so I can be sure to avoid them at all costs? Which ones specifically, and what ways to avoid using them?
Make sure to avoid purple or blue lasers, they can very quickly damage optics and your eyes.
Red and green are low power usually STILL DONT SHINE THEM IN PEOPLES EYES!!!
Ultraviolet and blue are very strong because of the color.
Light spectrums are fucking witchcraft.
Make sure to avoid ebay there are alot of them on there that disregard safety ratings by the fcc. Aka there supposed to be under a certain wattage to to be sold but china sells them anyway. So they can very quickly damage your eyes or optics PLEASE AVOID

Yes, yes, exactly, if I stay away from them, there's no way I could accidentally completely destroy them.

Also, I can't seem to find a direct message function.

Cannot confirm or deny that it would defiantly damage corneas or cameras.
Always wear eye protection when using lasers and reflections can blind you really easy

I was hoping for a "self-help" article, but the only suggestion is smashing. And I am not British.
