Sendpicsofsandwiches@sh.itjust.works · 18 pts · 178d

Nah, it's okay. We welcome the chaotic sandwiches as well!

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 5 pts · 178d

No, seriously. I think you would get some love. They liked all my recent abominations.

That is not an eclair but a long john.

I have never heard of an unfilled eclair. That idea is more offensive to me than this sandwich!

And to be fair, the Wikipedia entry for "eclair" makes no such provision for them to be unfilled, so I second calling this a Jong John until proof of filling can be made.

A Long John (also known as a bar, éclair, or finger doughnut)

🤷‍♂️

RumorsOfLove@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 6 pts · 178d (1 reply)

Long Johns are sometimes marketed as "éclairs"; the two pastries look similar but are created with different types of dough (steam-puffed vs. yeast-risen)

Serves me right for only reading some of the article, I guess!

Fizz@lemmy.nz · 3 pts · 178d (2 replies)

I hate lettuce so much. Dumbass watery leaf

Tried the Devils' crop?

Fizz@lemmy.nz · 2 pts · 178d

The only good species of lettuce.

SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world · 3 pts · 179d (5 replies)

That marijuana cigarette makes sense because the only people who think this is a good idea have their brains fried by that horrible drug.

marighost@piefed.social · 14 pts · 179d (1 reply)

I would have expected you to partake in the Devil's lettuce, SatansMaggotyCumFart.

I'm straight edge only alcohol and other people's prescription pills for me.

Yeah, nice side salat!

axexrx@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 178d

Ive always wanted tomatoes and chocolate to pair like that, but could never quite make it work. (A bit of coco powder or dark chocolate in a tomato based sauce, or chili brings out some great flavors though!)

brachypelmide@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 178d

i would demolish that thing so bad
