I have been consistently doing 2 minutes each morning before hiking with my dog.

Oh that's cool. How do you meditate? Do you have a specific intention?

I found the mindfulness app on my watch. It pulses for breathe in/out. I sit on the edge of the couch, or the floor and clear my mind and breathe. No intention, just calm.

I’ve been having a lot of anxiety during sits. But it feels good to face it.

Why do you think anxiety is coming up?

Not sure. But I’m anxious generally. It’s part of my motivation for meditating

I sat again for 15 minutes today. Session felt pretty calm. I have been trying to meditate more consistently. I probably should pay attention to what's coming up, but today I zoned out.

I sat for 15 minutes today. The session was a little unfocused. I think that's the result of an inconsistent practice. I find that the more I meditate, the quieter the mind, the less I have to say. The less I meditate, the more I notice and have more to comment on.
