I miss the Planetside 2 of 2014-2017. Its still one of my most played games on steam and I have some amazing memories of absolutely massive coordinated battles that I've never seen replicated in any other game but I just can't get back into it
Haha yeah. I recently posted in another thread that I saw someone's screenshot of played games from Xfire and Planetside 2 was in it. I thought damn it's that old?
Developing MMOFPS games must be pretty thankless. The "FPS" part requires a certain level of latency. The "MMO" part works against latency due to the number of players. In "contemporary" games the same problem can be seen in the game Foxhole.
