Okay, so quick disclaimer, I know that "peace" for everyone looks a little different, and so what one might want/need from a partner can vary a lot from that of another. I’m looking for genuine, honest answers to what YOU (the men of AskMen) think of when you say/hear "I want her to be my peace" or "she is my peace, and I love her for it," etc. What is something you'd want your partner, girlfriend, wife, etc to know and do/ not do that would bring you peace in your relationship and life? Thanks!!! :) submitted by /u/AdTechnical6388

Damn that is a hard one to explain for me. I think for me it's about feeling more peaceful then not in the relationship. Even the bad things can feel peaceful with the right person. For me a good way to describe that is this quote by Franz Kafka: “You are the knife I turn inside myself; that is love. That, my dear, is love.”
