Damn that is a hard one to explain for me. I think for me it's about feeling more peaceful then not in the relationship. Even the bad things can feel peaceful with the right person. It is an actual computer with Linux on it, you can even install windows if you're dumb enough to do that. You do not need a modchip to pirate or mod games on it. You do it like you would on any other Linux pc with wine.

and for lasts a non steam game: Minecraft, no not bedrock edition (i dont think that even runs on linux well) java. install the prism launcher and then with that use a modpack with the controlify mod, it has built in steamdeck support. Such a cozy experience playing MC on the Steamdeck, especially with a friend that you're next to irl.

How exactly are you so confident in that? AI is trained on insanely large quantities of data. And of course they would try their best to hide these practices.
And even if you are right, you are still missing the fact that they can do it in the future, laws can change too if you truly believe they are following those.
The point is, a company known to not care about it's users and only chasing profits has full unrestricted access to your data. It is foolish to believe they will never misuse it and will always follow the law.
Bill gates clearly does not care about the law, as he appears in the Epstein files many times if you need more proof.

I don't think you understand how closed source software works. What you just said is exactly true with the only lie being that they get caught. There is no way to prove that they are doing this and that's exactly why I'm sure that they are..
Besides, openai and many others have violated the copyright laws many times and faced no real consequences, do you really think this legal system is on your side?
I see many great suggestions here so I am only gonna add one thing to them:
consider self hosting if you care about privacy and owning your own work. Something like nextcloud has all of the features of google drive/docs built in and much more and these days really isn't that hard to expensive to setup.

You seem to miss my point. When people misuse the word pedophile (what they usually mean is predator) they make it harder for pedophiles to get the help they need and thus creating more predators. Of course I'm not defending them here, it is entirely their own fault, but that doesn't change the fact that misusing this word and shaming them for feelings that they don't act upon is making it worse.
Putting a group of people based on what they say in one bag and just having a negative reaction towards it not based on the actual contents of what was said is not rightful at all in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I get it. But that does not justify it and won't stop me from trying to change the world for the better.
To give an example it is like if someone got mad at me for saying that homelessness is a problem and it sucks just because radical communists say that as well.. and yes I know that this is very much the case for many people, but I have zero respect for such people. (to clarify obviously I am not a communist and I do no agree with it. In fact my country used to be under the rule of communism and it was not great. I live in Czechia)
