I saw someone state that since this coin is just a commemorative one it isn’t illegal, just tacky. The silver dollar the are talking about releasing however, would be illegal, and tacky.
Or hear me out let them mint the coin and Trump die on the same day. If he dies I think we should allow this coin. But only if he fucking leaves this mortal coil.
Looks like a depiction of Traitorapist Trump right after he has thrown food on the wall, which he does 1-2 per week according to a GOP former white house staffer.
whats funny is even like lincoln would make no sense a 250th anniversary. only washington or the founding fathers would make any sense. I really wish the constitution had forbidden use of any person in any signage or holidays or such. no holidays based around birthdays. heck it should have encouraged holidays around significant democratic dates like the singing of the constitution and election day and such.
Absolutely nothing feels like a bit much, but I would 100% vote for an amendment banning naming buildings, statues, or other emblems of any living president.
I mean even historic figures are human and far from perfect. I think it just makes sense to take humans out of the equation. Especially when you get partisan things. I mean reagans dead and look at all the things named after him. can you imagine if the republicans survive how much they will plaster trump all over the place. like its not plastered enough. I mean removing humans leaves us with plenty of options and I really do wish they had a set a precedence of significant days and dates in democracy and freedom type of thing. Like I would hate using the date of the start of the revolutionary war but would love the date the constitution was signed or the declaration of indpendence or significant amendments like the one almost ending slavery.

Pretty sure it’s illegal to mint a US coin of a living president. Here’s hoping someone sues and gets a restraining order.

I’d still sue if I had the money and power. You could tie it up until after midterms.
