Something, something Republican hypocrisy on celebrating a death of a political figure you didn't agree with on with the leader of the Republican party and not randos on the internet.
Trump said he was glad Robert Mueller died. Fox News never mentioned his comment on TV

At the risk of sounding defeatist, even if they did cover this, it wouldn't move the needle any. In fact, most of their viewing audience would probably just agree with him. I'll say it again and again... they are beyond redemption.

It's worth noting that I doubt there's a single thing put on air on fox that isn't dial-tested by a focus group first. I doubt it was too popular because at the end of the day Mueller was a decorated combat veteran and lifelong Republican.
Within the purview of draft dodger bone spurs during war time, the optics blow and anyone can easily win an argument on this topic. Republican strategists know this.

Fox News has never, from its earliest inception, been anything except explicit right wing propaganda. It's a shame that anyone dirties their brain by watching it.
A Rolling Stone article about Fox News's rise from 2011 is still the most complete and methodical explanation for how it started:
First, they bought an audience:
Then they filtered every person in the organization to ensure right-wing bias:
And starting 2000, they were directly putting their finger on altering the outcome of elections:
Since then, it's gotten many orders of magnitude worse of course. But as they shift the Overton window rightward, their propaganda also becomes "normal," and barely worth reporting (which accelerates the shift further, and so on).

Fox News has been hiding Trump being a shit bag for over a decade. This isn’t news.

It is, however, politics.

So presidential. Such an elder statesman. A true master of tact and diplomacy.

This should be the image of him that’s remembered forever, angry and whiny and out of control. Pathetic

FOX News knows their audience supports it.

He died? I missed that. Too bad he destroyed his legacy.
