Doesn't the killing curse canonically need intent to be cast? So Harry must have secretly wanted Ron dead :p

Hermione getting together with Ron should be reason enough.

Would've been hilarious if the Killing Curse just refused to work on gingers.

Mmm, Harry's left hand is looking suspiciously like AI

Also, not to be pedantic, but this comic doesn't make any sense chronologically. Harry's playing Pokemon Yellow, which came out in June of 2000 in Europe. The Deathly Hallows ended in spring of 1998, two years before Harry could've had a chance to play Pokemon Yellow. Even if they're both playing the american versions of Red and Blue, those didn't come out until September of 1998. The only way Harry and Ron could have been playing Pokemon would be if they had imported the Japanese versions of Red and Green, which came out in February of 1996, during the later half of Harry's 5th year, but even then, his Abra wouldn't have evolved into Kadabra, it would be his ケーシィ(Casey) that evolved into ユンゲラー (Yungerer).

The webcomic name is right there. This was uploaded in 2018.

I don't know if you've heard, but fiction doesn't need to respect irl timelines.
