Black nails are pretty goth, but mix and matching the aesthetics is cool too! If your usual aesthetic is more pastel, that just means that incorporating gothic elements to your style can be extra impactful.
People who act like these two aesthetics are too contradictory to be worn together are people who lack imagination. If you so please, you can prove them wrong and be a synthesis of the two.
I think I'd be both at once, somehow. Basically I'm really silly until you get me talking about societal issues and then I wanna commit arson.
Then if I have fun doing crime I return to silly mode as I do it so like idk man I just want the world to be better so I and others can have fun living and being happy with one another. That's literally it.
