"Ublock" or "Ublock Origin?" They're not the same company, Origin is hands down better and still seems to be working fine for me.

Updating it did seem to work for now! Using Firefox.
Google must scramble every day to get us to stop using adblock. How many hours of peoples lives are spent trying to circumvent it..

Breaking adblock even for one day likely pays the salary for several people. They would not be doing it if it didn't pay.
You may think it's demotivating work, but there's a breed of engineers that lives for adversarial stuff like this.

Besides, its in their right to make any changes to Youtube that they want. You don't have to use it. "Fuck these people." is crosses the line.

YouTube premium is ad free, and cheaper than most streaming services. I personally do the 22.99 family plan. I get 3 other logins i can give to anyone to use it as well and they don't have to be in my household.
I personally use it for YouTube music on my car. Works perfectly with no ads and it autoplays when i get inside.
