I guess that's sadly true for the mid 2020s. I remember a time when seasons were one year apart and had 12 to 24 episodes. Everything takes a lot longer and costs a lot more in pretty much every single industry these days. All the while every industry relies on high tech a lot more too. wdym? Have you seen the way the fights in this show are animated? That sort of quality has never been a thing in shows where you were getting seasons 1 year apart.
Neither do you get them these days. Hence they are more than one year apart. So just judging by your example it really didn't get more productive but a hell lot more expensive.
