Yup but even then, using crude oil refined to lubictate a wind turbine for 12-18 months worth of power is a better use than burning it for a few seconds of power.

Nice read, so they still use crude oil based lubricants. I think solar power is still king, but wind will be vital in countries with less sun.

Of course, never insinuated it isnt. Wind just isnt exactly "clean" right now.

I'm not sure they use oil I thought they use graphite based lubricants.
