I freaking love my xc90

My first car was a 2005 xc70, and that thing would run like nothing was wrong with 3/5 engine coils blown. I miss that car sometimes...

I had a V8 and it was maybe my favorite car I've ever had. If not that, then the most capable. I threw a whole 6.5' sofa in the back and took it across the state. Not even my brother's GMC Suburban can haul that much volume

Same, 2019 model T8 here.

It replaced my tank of a 1996 940

99% of people do not need a SUV, yet they are so predominant. They should be banned.

Get a P2 V70.

I have one, it is old, but gold. Like, the paint color is gold. It doesn't run very well. It's handsome though.

If you can get your hands on one. A V70R is my dream car behind a 240 Torslanda, but both now seem to be in the "scalped by 21 year olds" category. A XC70 is only slightly different and much more available

Would love one, but they're usually beat to hell and back.

I also would not mind finding a P3 XC70 T6 and putting the suspension from a V70 in it. Make a P3 faux v70r. Get a licence plate that says FAKE R

Haha, that's awesome. By coincidence, I was looking at a P3 XC70 last fall when I was car shopping, but it was too beat up for me.

Ended up getting a Buick Regal TourX. I love my wagons.

I have a P2 V70 and a P3 XC70. Also S90. I may have a problem. Family member crashed the XC into a tree/bush thing. It's in the garage getting put back together. Waiting on parts. The clown who crashed it is being a lazy turd. If he doesn't get moving on it, he's going to be walkin' soon.

I say to let the market decide. Stop subsidizing gasoline costs and people might be more discretionary, but I don't think they should be banned outright. There's plenty of utility in a sports utility vehicle.

XC90 drinks like 12l+ for 100km?

PP_BOY_@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 134d

And it'll do it for the next 75 years

blargh513@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 134d

Depends. It came with the 5-cylinder turbo, a 3.2L inline 6, a turbo inline 3.0L 6 or a V8.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Veloster TURBO.

Where does that fall in?

PP_BOY_@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 134d

Post-Recession, Pre-COVID. Youre in the green

Careful! Starting in 2015-2018ish a lot of cars started sending telemetry to your insurance company.
