Rihanna hasn't dropped an album in 10 years, and I think she has said she'll never make another album. I'm positive her wealth comes more from her very successful Fenty brand than her music (as much as I absolutely loved her music back in the day, she wasn't selling like Swift or Beyonce)
Edit: I'd say the same for Gomez, her wealth is probably from Rare Beauty nowadays
Depends how you look at it. You could have a couple hundred million, and then if you add a single billion you still "only" have "about a billion" the difference between a million and a billion is crazy.
