Donald Trump is doing more to help green causes than any other leader at the moment

Actions speak louder than words. His actions in driving up the costs of fossil fuels, and showing the fragility the supply chain, is doing more to persuade other countries to divest from fossil fuels than any words from a sane president ever could. The decline of the US is an example of how it disadvantages a country to continue relying on them, while other countries forge ahead with renewables.

It's a too snarky/cynical thought. Waging wars, destroying infrastructure etc. all have huge environmental costs. The US leaving the Paris accords, blocking clean energy adoption, cancelling projects as well as Trump's anti-renewable propaganda has a net negative effect even if an oil crisis and economic recession is good for fewer carbon emissions as well.

Biden's IRA had more positive potential.

Not to mention that destroying quite a few refineries and storages of oil has just released quite a fair bit of extra emissions, and wasn't utilised at all. 0% efficient use.

This is an ecofascist-though, you should reevaluate it

True...

The annoying thing is that the nuclear power shills are out in full force. Even though we literally have too much solar power in a lot of areas.

Oh yes. Let's argue about which type of not fossil fuel is the best. Then we can splinter our cause and not accomplish anything. Good idea.

Nuclear power is okay

It's expensive bullshit.
