His suit would be soaked if it wasn't AI. He would have to wade into the water and wait for a wave, he can't just surf on two feet from the shore to the wave. And in order to wade into the water you have to dip your arms in the water and plant your torso on the board. This gets you wet pretty fast. But in this photo only his pants are a little bit wet. That's simply not possible. In order for him to get into this position he'd have to have gotten drenched.
Another point is, logistically, how would he bring a beer and flag out there? It's not like he has any spare hands when wade into the water.

He is wake surfing, its not ai. It's easy to launch off the swim platform and stay completely dry.

It may be AI, or it may be some clever photoshopping.
Either way, it is not a genuine image.
It's nothing more than manufactured propaganda.
