Rubber bands – Sutton suggests that if you could find a small elastic band, you could catapult yourself out like a miniature slingshot.

Oh yeah let me just shit one out

SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 126d

This is why I eat a rubber band every day

That article pissed me off. They never state the intended solution despite mentioning its existence. Clickbait is the worst

ch00f@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 126d (4 replies)

There is no intended solution. That’s the point.

LodeMike@lemmy.today · 6 pts · 126d (3 replies)

Then why the fuck is it asked

SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 126d

To torture you

Because some employers want to see how you attack a problem that has no clear answer.

However, they also don't ask the question any more because it didn't correlate with job performance, so take from that what you will.

Amazing :3

I would answer "die" or "wait". Either I'm put in there which can just put me back down or someone will come looking within a couple days.

So effectively [I think] it has no answer.

Wait, we’re meant to think it’s a bad thing that we’re being thrown into a blender?

Fast paced = a lot of mistakes are made and management does everything they can to avoid responsibility

DmMacniel@feddit.org · 9 pts · 126d

Move fast and break shit, that's what they preach isn't it?

Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 126d

I'm just going to sit in the center, and barf everywhere, making a huge mess.

DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 126d

The manager should be sitting up on the edge looking down.

OriginEnergySux@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 126d

You just employed a neurodivergent worker. Checkmate.
