I have spent too much time on the internet, and it has left its marks. My first thought was of "pet" in a different context. Brb, putting my brain into the dishwasher.

thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 139d (5 replies)

hmm

Wildmimic@anarchist.nexus · 4 pts · 139d (4 replies)

I'm back! My cat was nice enough to put my brains back into my head, as emergency contact pets do.

thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 139d (3 replies)

did it work tho

Wildmimic@anarchist.nexus · 2 pts · 139d (2 replies)

No, the internet grime - just like most biohazardous waste - would need an autoclave to remove.

thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 137d (1 reply)

is this knowledge biohazardous tho

Wildmimic@anarchist.nexus · 1 pts · 137d

It is Bio-something for sure.

"What's that you say? You're down a well? Timmy, we talked about this."

Oh man... That dog got some very bad news in the final panel.

"Your owner was in a car crash. He's fine, but the dog food was in the backseat and it flew out the window. The bag suffered heavy damage. We couldn't save it."

pomegranatefern@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 139d

"Your owner was able to buy a new bag, but unfortunately, by then the store had sold out of your favorite brand... Listen, I understand this is hard to hear..."

pomegranatefern@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 139d

"I have some difficult news for you. You may want to sit down. ... sit."

Gork@sopuli.xyz · 10 pts · 139d (1 reply)

Yes my emergency contact is my dog.

Or

Yes my emergency contact is my guest.

Holytimes@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 139d

Guest would also cover coworker/friend who carried your dumb ass to the doctor after you got into a head butt contest with a brick.

But pet...? Yes my cat will pick me up

pno2nr@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 139d

Hello this is dog

Apytele@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 139d

The sample / fill-in medical advance directive provided by my state has a section for "what tasks / obligations do you want carried out on your behalf" and one of the examples provided is pet care, but this seems like a poor way to state that.

jaybone@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 139d

My first time really looking at the background in that pics. Looks like it could be a doctors office or a vet. Maybe that is someone’s emergency contact, getting some bad news. If it weren’t for that woman smiling anyway, though maybe she is a psychopath.
