If it's important to wash our body, wash our hair, why isn't it equally important to wash our brain ?

I've read theory that posits that when we sleep, waves of cerebrospinal fluid wash over the brain, removing waste.

Now that I'm home and can use my desktop PC, I looked it up to make sure I wasn't talking out of my ass. Edited my above comment with a link!

Why do you think we sleep?

Brain washing is typically looked down upon.

Why so ???

scutiger@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 115d

Mostly because of the nasty, obvious scars it leaves behind on your head when you cut it open.

Because of gravity. You can't look up when brain washing or the water would just fall on your face.
