Good thing anti-miscSEGAnation laws were ruled unconstitutional in 1967. Certainly took long enough to do it though.

It truly heralded the Genesis of a new age. Ooh now I wanna watch the Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) directed 2016 movie "Loving" about that Loving v. Virginia Supreme Court case. It stars Ruth Negga (Preacher) and Joel Edgerton (Owen Lars in a Star War) as Mildred and Richard Loving.

If I actually wanted to reproduce I'd preferentially seek out a mate from the most genetically isolated population I could find (e.g. the hyper-isolationist Sentinelese) for the very reason that greater genetic diversity is the surest metric for evolutionary fitness. For the same reasons incest isn't. (Altho I may have to send a drone in to bring back a DNA sample if I'd also like to survive the effort.)
