Who leaves the bottom seal partially on their yogurts?

Ive always done this because I figure 2 seals are better than 1. Now im wondering if this is weird

It is actually recommended that you don’t leave it on there as it leaves more surface area in the container for contamination or bacteria to grow.

Do not do this. The inner seal is meant for 1 time use. Once broken it only serves as a way to trap germs from your hands and keep them in your food. Always fully remove the inner seal once its broken.

Damn, we have large yogurt pots here in Belgium that simply come without the upper seal, just foil on top.

Same here in NL. After I open it I remove the foil and close it with plastic cling film.

This is what I thought, but in all cases it's wrong. (At least that I'm aware of)

The middle seal, once broken, only gets in the way of the main seal (top one) from creating a perfect seal.

I have never seen two seals on a yogurt. In NA the bottom one is the only one.

I'm in North America and I've seen large yogurt containers, meant for multiple servings, with two lids like in the picture. Tubs of sour cream are similar.

For single serving yogurt, I've only seen ones with just foil lids.

Oh on large containers, yes. For some reason I though this was a snack cup.

Wait, how big are these containers? 300-400-500ml? We eat those in one or two servings in my country, so they rarely aren't used up in maximum a day. No need to ever reseal.
