Fun fact, freshly cut grass is great to smell when standing on your lawn.
In an industrial or battlefield setting, it's a death sentence. Phosgene is listed as a Schedule 3 substance under the Chemical Weapons Convention.
It can also be produced if you weld something that you've cleaned with break cleaner. And is a painful way to die.
