I'm not sure why that would be surprising. Hugging Face has partnered with several AI companies including Open AI. Everyone involved has a vested interest in making llm based 'AI' seem more capable than it is.
The show runners were in a rush to finish up and get to their next project (which never ended up happening). That, and the fact they ran out of source material to pull from is thought to be why the quality of the show dropped so much.
The rumored price point for the ps6 is going to be about the same as the steam machine. People will be able to get their fix just as easily somewhere else.
