I would like to but I watch YouTube using the FreeTube client which supports skipping segments from SponsorBlock but doesn't include a UI to submit segments. I could open up the video in a browser and submit via the extension, but that is inconvenient and interrupts the flow of the video.
Because yeah, their comment is completely reasonable. On my computer I'll always submit the segments myself. But the UX of doing it on a phone is just prohibitive.

it showed "request timed out" on my phone and looked like it didnt send.... grrr.. evils..... its the jerboa client.... its nice, but gosh that is a problem.

Controversial take: I don't mind the sponsors because the alternative is them relying on Youtube adsense and pushing that harder. Skipping the sponsor manually takes 2 seconds and doesn't mess with their analytics to the point where all youtubers eventually give up on partnering with sponsors at all.
I guess if you use Nebula I can see where you're coming from, but the last thing I want is for youtubers to join the Sith and start whining about disabling adblockers lol
