Sigh. AH literally published a road map people. If you read the document seems obvious the next major event is at the end of the road.
I personally like the slow pace of development, it allows the devs to provide more quality updates rather than quantity

🤦
I also prefer slow development. Give people time to play other games like Pragmata, Vampire Crawlers, or finish a run of Baldur's Gate 3.

Or play HD1. No longer updated but the galactic war is fast pace

I've said it since launch the HD2 community is just fucking awful. HD1 community was nothing like this and when they game got popular people tried to force it into a DRG like community, but it doesn't work like that.

The review bomb with the Sony login stuff was deserved and great that it worked, but it also tells the player base they can get away with pulling that again anytime they want something unfortunately, imo

This reminds me of Slay the Spire 2 review bombing. An early access game gets review bombed due to balancing changes.

I just looked that one up. Apparently they hired someone who happens to a vocal feminist.
So naturally all the weak insecure men have to leave a negative review.

I think the main reason Sony backed down from the account linking stuff was the mass of Steam refunds, rather than the reviews.
... there may or may not be some of my copium in there.
At least I
copehope that AH manages to filter out all the noise, because surrounding the genuine problems with the game there is a lot of it.At least I'm doing my part, with constructive feedback on the latest survey!

Part of the problem with the Sony refund was all the people jumping on the bandwagon. You can look at reviews at that time and see several reviews with playtime between 0.0 and 0.1 hours. Scope that out to .5 hours and they're even more.

I could understand this if it was a recurring battle pass or something, but it's not. If you're bored, play something else until an update.

Helldivers 2 players: slow down, take your time, we don't want to see major bugs or rushed balance changes!
Also Helldivers 2 players: there aren't enough updates or progress in the war! Hurry up! Work faster!

Yeah this review bomb is way less deserved than the first.

Ok, so this (the review bombing) is definitely crap then. The thing about the those 23 warbonds is that Arrow Head still lets you grind for premium currency in game, kind of like games of old. Those warbonds add gadgets (weapons etc) to your arsenal that have very real change to the way the game is played. On top of that AH has been providing smaller story moments to the meta, interspersed with larger moments, really consistently.
The illustrate that last point. There’s currently a small story moment ongoing that adds quite a lot to the game for a minor part. It adds a new planetary biome and alternative enemy that while not entirely new, has very different stats. In fact, I’m still trying to find a good weapons loadout (from all those warbonds) against the much faster bugs because my old go-to’s aren’t cutting it.

I use the flamethrower, gas barrage or napalm airstrike, tesla or gatling sentry and a jump pak or patriot exo.
People are shitting on the exo suits past week, but the patriot has proven to be solid for me against these fast bugitos.

Its been said before. AH was neither ready for nor did they want the CoD crowd. They wanted a small niche audience like HD1 but theyr game was too good, and word of mouth spread like wildfire. I dunno if it hurt or helped to bring in the Xbox divers but theyr stuck with this grumpy, never happy crowd now, and so are we
