Hantavirus in humans can be really bad. Possibly death. There is a specific type of the virus that can spread from rodent to human and it’s rare. The risk for becoming an epidemic or pandemic is very low at this time.

Yeah it’s not good. Once you get respiratory symptoms it’s a numbers game.
