They might be referring to "Alberta" as our current leadership, which is unquestionably pushing for independence as they are almost certainly promised rewards from said billionaires.
No matter how many times I give the finger to the assholes on the side of the road petitioning for signatures, they're still out there the next day.
If you're in Alberta and can vote in October to prevent this from happening. Please do that.
