From the looks of it, I think the HF boxes are better - OP is missing the lid soft pad cushions and drawer lining, unfortunately.

I also have purple but from HF it’s more of a “royal purple” and it fucks.

That wouldn't surprise me, this feels cheap as fuck. The harbor freight purple absolutely SLAPS though you're not wrong
