I just got back from the most amazing Ireland/Malaysia trip. Family wedding in Ireland, and getting to travel and eat with a friend I hadn't seen in 12 years. I had the best Nasi Lemak I've ever had.
The only downside is that I have a mild case of food poisoning, but it's also the upside, too - it's only mild, and I only got symptoms when I got home, so no being sick on the plane. 🥳
My chest pain has gotten better (muscle strain) and I slept better last night after barely doing so for about two weeks. Granted, I used four different things to fall asleep but I'll take what I can get at this point.
The Roma tomato plants in my garden are growing like crazy. 2 of 3 are big and bushy, the third is smaller but it’s still producing tomatoes. I also transplanted 5 soybean plants, hoping at least 2-3 survive. My hot pepper plants still look super sad, but they have flower buds, so we’ll see.
I lost track of my cute bark lynx spider friend, I think she moved into the bushes because I haven’t seen her in over a week. However, my praying mantis friend is still living happily on the mini orange tree and it’s getting bigger!
I’ve been able to take a lot of great pictures with the macro lens attachment for my phone. I add them to iNaturalist for identification, hopefully some researcher can use my nerdy joy and love of insects and arachnids for some good scientific research :)
