I had to post this because I've clamoured for American McGee's Alice 3: This Time It's A Soulslike for ages now and finally someone is doing it (sort of...). We can't really see too much in this trailer but I really hope this turns out well, the setting has so much potential for a Soulslike.

Looks like it could be pretty good. The trailer doesn't reveal much, but it seems like they are taking a similar approach as Lies of P: a traditional but solid soulslike that sells itself on the immersion in a uniquely dark take on a classic story.

For the setting... Aesthetics are a letdown. Lawd, not every soulslike has to be derivative like that. I Hope it has stellar gameplay I guess.

What does "Extraction" mean in this context?
Also I wonder how pushed the multiplayer is gonna be? There is a couple of seconds of multiple player in the trailer near the end. The Steam page says "alone, or alongside your allies". Is this gonna be multiplayer, but you can technically play alone or you play alone and sometimes you team up. The language in the Steam page makes me think this gonna be hub based. I just hope it's actually designed areas and not randomized.
Damn, that's an efficient modern game.

Never heard of "extraction" used outside of online shooters so... Maybe the multiplayer component is a central part of it? Never played that genre so idk....Perhaps a Nightreign situation? Or something like the upcoming Duskbloods?
