U.S. Pauses Key Defence Accord Despite Carney’s Military Spending Hike

Lol! Canada just hasn't committed to spending that money on US weapons. So, now the US is throwing another tantrum about Canada's "commitment to military spending". It's all a fucking shakedown.

Well, if the US is pausing the defence accord, I guess that means we should get our fighter jets elsewhere.

The last thing you want is a fleet of jets that some foreign power can arbitrarily decide to disable like they have this accord.
