I received a 30 day instance ban for down voting them.
Take a look through their modlog, you'll see they've been banned for things like racism and vote manipulation in the past.
I just blocked them and moved on, I will be okay without that instance... though I'm not surprised, they exhibited crazy hypocrisy in just like a 2 line interaction

Edit: OK, it seems you need to need logged in on mobile to see that. I went from voyager to the link, and I wasn't logged in on the browser.
