Modern software engineers don't write their stuff in assembly and my degree program didn't require math beyond Calc 2 for a reason--the biologies are diiiiistantly applied maths!

Hmmm, I thought these sorts of calculation based arguments were a key feature of the modern utilitarian schools of philosophy. But I'm also not sure, it's been some time since I dug into this stuff. Happy to be corrected!
