I basically procrastinated watching a new movie for so long a sequel has already come out last year... Rule?

As someone who used to like the game and the lore, I was waiting for a while for the (official) FNAF movie.
When it released in 2023, I thought I'd buy it on a DVD because I like physical media (and AACS sounds like crap to deal with).
But it wasn't yet released.

So I found it on Himovies (which is now dead), and decided to watch it later. "Maybe tomorrow."
Eventually it got released, but the price was too high, so I figured it would go down, eventually.
At some point I closed the Himovies tab. Out of tab bar, out of mind.

Now I remembered it when watching a trailer for different movie. Oh damn, let me check the DVD.
Sure thing, I could grab a used one now for a third of the original price.

Let's... go?
Wait, FNAF 1&2 DVD set? There's a second one?

But it's past 3AM now, so, maybe later?

Hah, you think that's bad? I've procrastinated on Dune: Part 1 so long, we're almost on Part 3

.. the sequel already came out??

Eh, I'm millennial enough to admit it's for the kids and I'm never going to get in to it; I tried one of the free ones once and didn't care.

EDIT : Same thing happened to me with grounded and outer wilds though. I got the originals on offer and I'm starting to play them.
