I have developed a shitty habit of getting something 80% done immediately, then thinking that last 20% will surely be an easy 1–2 hour cleanup, then 30 minutes before due date realizing I have fucked myself almost as badly as if I had just put off the whole thing until the last 24 hours

And if there aren’t due dates and you instead send it when you’re prepared, then you’re fucked.

(Source: the recent weeks of my university course where I can’t be assed to do any of it since I’ve lost interest and having my files magically change to read only once I move them between two computers I use to do the work.)
