YL brought home seasons 1 & 2 of The Universe on DVD for her dad which happened to be the exact show he was watching when she gifted them to him. He's pretty chuffed.

Sad to see that the Stargate revamp/reboot has been cancelled, but am glad that it's because the OG guy and the studio were at odds about how it should be handled. Would rather not see it then see it and be absolute crap because It'S wHaT pEoPlE WaNt.
It was a good show. I miss shows like that. Sci-fi theme, bit of action, lots of humour, and lots of episodes per season. We’ll probably never see that style of tv again.
And pro tip: it's common for coeliacs to have some level of lactose intolerance especially before their gut heals so you can often get lucky and get GF/DF together

Everyday it seems I lose another food I liked, yesterday hot jammy donuts, today Miss Seagoon pointed out butter menthols have butter. So many foods and I never gave a thought about ingredients before 😔 So it's eucalyptus only from now on.
Making your own doughnuts is not that hard, but it is a bit time consuming and the frying can make a bit of a mess. But, if I had the choice of never eating a doughnut again or occasionally making my own, worth doing!
