It’s easy (and encouraged!) to dunk on Trump for all the human rights abuses and excessive use of lethal force, but the amount of “soft power” he’s given up is truly staggering. Previous administrations, both Republican and Democrat, spent decades building up quiet US influence around the world, and he’s destroying it like a toddler knocking over wooden blocks.

I will say it's a good time to leave Stripe, as most new things they announce seem to be something I think is a bad idea.
