Glad this is the case but god DAMN if it isn't sickening and so stupid that people have to crowd fund life saving medical procedures. Completely embarrassing for this country.
I just LOVE that everyone you describe socialism to (without the label) is in agreement. But then you tell them that that’s what socialism is, and suddenly they’re against it.
What if instead of asking each other for money for health issues we just took a little money from everyone and some for business so we could all afford healthcare?
I know this is supposed to be a feelgood thing but I just can't get over the underlying dystopian bullshit that is having to be able to afford medical bills.

Yeah, but God forbid we have government provided healthcare. That would be socialism...

Has anyone ever tried that?

You mean building healthcare cooperatives?

Yep. And of course the most efficient way to provide everyone in the country with good healthcare is to have one big co-op.

We tried that. The government took the money and spent it on bombs instead!

Paying to stop the orphan crushing machine is silly. Just getting in the way for no reason.

How come the dad looks more like the kid in the meme then the kid from the meme does.

So if it wasn't for a child's celebrity, we would have let his father die. What a feel-good story.

How did he make any money from the meme? It's not like you pay to rent it when you want to make a post.

If a meme template becomes viral, the person in the template becomes famous. He probably used the fame to bring attention to his dads surgery
