No, they're focused on social interaction and I dont need this at work. The social vampires there drain all energy out of me. My WFH mental health is vastly better, and I have more energy at the end of the day.
When my employer started RTO, I knew I’d hate it but you perfectly nailed the energy drain that I felt. I’m exactly as social as I want to be with Teams, why should I pay for gas to sit in an office and be less social on Teams?

I can quantify how much I save on gas, car wear + tear, lunches, clothes, laundry, shoes, drinks out, etc.
Authors here haven’t done a convincing job of comparing the two.

No it fucking sucks. Not that works bad. It no life work balance. They think since I work from home that I don't deserve two days off in a row.
One of the companies work for thought it was okay to change my schedule weekly and days off and refuse any and all PTO requests.
