When my employer started RTO, I knew I’d hate it but you perfectly nailed the energy drain that I felt. I’m exactly as social as I want to be with Teams, why should I pay for gas to sit in an office and be less social on Teams?
I really like the canted red dot, especially if you can stay inline and just rotate into the red dot. I’ll try to find the name of the red dot mount I use that does exactly that. It’s great for quickly getting on target with the red dot then rotating into the scope, or rolling from the scope into the dot with basically no delay.
Edit: Valhalla tactical made the red dot adapter that replaces a ring on an ADM QD scope mount. For my “do everything” rig, it’s great. I took it off my HD gun because I don’t need the adaptability of a scope and red dot in a 2,000 sq foot house.
Fraud for disability might be higher than other social welfare programs but last I heard fraud for food stamps (which directly supports American farming btw) was well under 1% which means if they spend more than that fraction of a percent looking for fraud it was a waste of money. Guess which direction the government would rather put their money.
FWIW, designers would likely forgo the high front but there are pedestrian impact standards that require a high front to pass. At low speeds, perhaps there’s a front camera to assist in parallel parking?
They’re still backed by a lifetime warranty, so i get it. It’s been a minute since I needed new glass but if I were shopping today, a used Nikon would definitely catch my interest. Bushnell is making some interesting stuff, too, which is good. More competition in the market is always good.
It’s a shame Nikon left the scope market. They really know glass. There are so many decent low end scopes with Chinese glass, but not that many affordable Japanese glass scopes.
Doesn’t this assume lifestyle creep, though? The housing market is a complete disaster, no argument there, but my partner and I will have our mortgage paid off in 17 years, and we’re not planning to move again. You don’t have to keep refinancing and moving to a new place, unless circumstances in your life have drastically changed.
Sounds like USNS Mercy might be an asset in this situation, especially as the patients need airlifting to Oahu which then closes down an ER/ICU for Honolulu.
IDK, watching Musk get hospitalized because he refuses to tap out and Zuck has him in some crazy choke hold would make me happy. Zuck dislocating Musk’s shoulder making him unable to Tweet for a month would also bring me joy.
The smarter move would be during an emergency to get everybody into the Volt and let it cool that smaller space. It won’t be as comfortable, but the battery would likely get you through the whole night at a decent temperature.
California trying to pass laws that make solar unappealing while simultaneously requiring electric appliances and cars on an already overstressed grid? Name a more iconic duo.
When do they get a holiday celebrating their birth?

Actually I sold covered calls on those 1 MM shares with a strike price of $1,000 for $1 MM per 100 shares, expiration 1/1/27.
Optic on the handguard and not the upper receiver. Pleb.

Not just the children but the men and the women too?

What caliber/rifle/scope are you hunting with?
Sleeping while being a baby in a crib gets you severe burns and other injuries from a flash-bang.

Source: they delivered a midsized SUV to my work and picked up my trade-in at no cost to me, and this was 10 years ago
