Even the fire departments do damage by refusing to adopt normal-sized vehicles like in Europe, vetoing a massive number of protected/separated bike lanes
If you're referring to the current NYC protected bike lanes drama (the only thing I can find that references this, man remember when search engines worked??) it has less to do with the size of the firetrucks, and everything to do with expanding the distance between buildings and accessible roadways due to proposed parking expansion. Just basic FuckCars, plus last I checked those protected lanes are still getting built so that's nice (a similar thing happened in portland though they ultimately just reduced the size of curbside parking and that was fine).
Reinforcing the idea that opinions drown out facts, and empathy is for chumps. Left or right, republican, democrat, liberal, conservative: we should embrace empathy where we can.
Swap out "9/11" for "FAFO", and you could replace the country with any other, truthfully.
Aside, for a protest graphic, it's drowning in Murica stickers and much more likely to be assumed at first glance to be an advert to take all GOP puds in every free-use orifice. ☝🏼😝
