I don't know much Spanish, but I did catch that it was "(something) and (something very similar to that) and (something else)"... so I assumed a list or just talking to talk.

Hey, it's a glyph for seeing subtitles, not for comprehending foreign languages. Seeing subtitles might still be helpful in a noisy setting.

Shouldn't she be saying different stuff in the last panel, even if the patch doesn't work? People don't just repeat themselves... unless they have dementia
