You know Paw? That grunge band from the 90s? Had songs like Jessy and The Bridge. Anyway, their lead singer, Mark Hennessy, was in a bunch of bands after Paw dissolved in 2000. The Diamond Heart Club and 1950 D.A. being two of them, but neither released any actual albums. Then, he finally found a new musical home with Godzillionaire, releasing three albums in nine years and playing tons of live shows.
Even though Paw fans will instantly be reminded of the old band by the voice and unique singing style, Godzillionaire manage to sound way more heavy and playful than Paw ever did.
Negative Balance is their second album, initially released in 2020 as 45 RPM double LP on black vinyl. This white repress is from 2025.
